Enjoy beautiful summer evenings in Mozart Park with Escena Latina Teatro performing at the annual Teatro en el Parque.

Prior to each performance, a Café will be set up and feature complementary food from local restaurants and offerings from local businesses as well as live musical performances on selective evenings.

About the Play: Doctor Roda runs a not-for-profit center with the sacred goal of saving lives. This “Sanctuary for the Soul”, as she refers to it, is set in a beautiful location on the country-side. The center was founded with the belief of the healing power of Mother Nature. Escena Latina Teatro’s adaptation of the classic play, written by Spanish playwright Alejandro Casona, uses humor to convey the tribulations of individuals whom, for different reasons and with a similar determination arrive at the sanctuary. Each experience allows us a glimpse into our own humble, collective, and shared humanity.
