Yuling Spanish Dance will lead this fun and energetic class for all ages. The class will introduce Flamenco dance and music to everyone who participates. All the participants will learn the essential elements of Flamenco dance vocabularies including hand movements, body movements and footwork to get a taste of the spirit and passion of Flamenco dance. Participants can choose to join one or both classes.

Yu-Ling Hu was a company dancer of Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater from 2006 to 2016. She had received four styles of Spanish Dance training and toured with the company nationally and internationally. After establishing Yuling Spanish Dance in 2017, Yu-Ling has dedicated herself to teaching and performing Flamenco and Classical Spanish Dance in the Greater Boston area. In addition to being a professional dancer and dance instructor, Yu-Ling is also a board certified Dance/Movement Therapist.

We highly recommend wearing gym shoes or character shoes (rather than Flamenco dance shoes) to the class, due to concerns about noise levels and floor damage,

Registration is required. We plan to open doors 15 minutes in advance of the program. Teen attendees are welcome if accompanied by their parents/guardians.
