Job Title: Haitian Creole Language Instructor

Job Type: Part-time; per course

Location: Downtown Boston and in the Boston area

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking to expand our language offerings and are looking to hire a Haitian Creole teacher for private classes and small groups of all levels for adults. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic instructor who is comfortable working in a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Haitian Creole Language and Literature, or a related field

• Have native fluency in Haitian Creole

• Have at least 5 years’ experience teaching Haitian Creole to adults in both group and private classes

• Be able to work independently to design language curricula

• Have demonstrated ability to effectively engage students of all levels

• Have experience in multicultural settings and working with a diverse team

Preferred qualifications include:

• A Master’s degree or higher in related field

• Ability/interest in teaching any additional languages
